Overview
Livebase is a personal automation system operated by Jam Systems LLC. This privacy policy describes how SMS communications work in this system.
What Data We Collect
We collect and store the following when SMS messages are sent or received:
- The phone number used to send or receive messages
- The message body content
- Timestamps of message events
- Delivery status (sent, delivered, failed)
We do not collect or store any other personal information through SMS.
How We Use Data
Message data is used solely for:
- Operating the personal automation system (delivering 2-factor authentication codes, system alerts, deployment notifications, and operational summaries)
- Internal logging and debugging
- Required regulatory compliance with carriers and Twilio
Sharing of Information
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer any phone numbers or message content to third parties for any purpose. We do not use SMS data for marketing purposes. The only third party that processes message data is our SMS service provider (Twilio), as required to deliver the messages.
Recipients
SMS messages are sent only to phone numbers belonging to the system operator or to phone numbers that have explicitly opted in. No unsolicited messages are sent.
Opt-Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to immediately stop all SMS delivery. Reply HELP for support information.
Data Retention
Message records are retained for operational and regulatory purposes for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted.
Security
Data is stored on private infrastructure with industry-standard access controls. We do not store sensitive content (e.g., financial credentials, medical information) in SMS messages.
